John Mackey new piece "Kingfishers Catch Fire"

A "kingfisher" is a bird with gorgeous feathers that look in sunlight like they are on fire. Kingfishers are shy birds and are rarely seen, but when they are seen, they are beautiful. The idea for my piece is that all things express their inner beauty.
